The event started with around half an hour to grab a cuppa and mingle with the members of both groups and then breakfast was served as the longest round-robin MBG has seen for a while took place. This ensured that everyone had an opportunity to stand up and introduce themselves and their business to the room.

After breakfast there was a last opportunity to speak to other networkers and to exchange business cards before the meeting wound down at 9am.

It was a pleasure to host Andover Business Breakfast and we hope to arrange a return event where MBG members can experience one of their breakfast networking events.

This month we are featuring a member of the Andover Mutual Business Group as part of an occasional series highlighting member companies.

Thomas Winter Associates (TWA) set up in Andover in 2006 with just 2 staff to offer a wide range of marketing services.   Since then their business has had a major impact on local businesses by introducing the very popular Andover Expo for two years.  The Expo has proved hugely successful and has given hundreds of businesses in and around Andover the chance to showcase themselves at a time of economic challenge. 

TWA continues to build on this success, with the next Andover Expo in March 2011 and, additionally, will introduce three new Expos to Southern business centres in 2011.

Information about many MBG members was displayed on the stand with leaflets and business cards to take-away for visitors. With both still images and a video camera at the event there is bound to be plenty of evidence of the stand for those of you who weren’t there.
