Brilliant customer service

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Chairman of MBG Darren Crannis was talking at our May meeting about customer service. Too often it is lacking.

Well, I have some good news. Yesterday I went to a pub with truly great customer service, and it’s not far from Andover. En-route to see the steam pump engines at Crofton I stopped at The Three Horseshoes pub in Burbage, Wiltshire, as recommended in ‘The Good Beer Guide’. The landlord was friendly and welcomed us in, served us with drinks, furnished us (at the best table) with menus and then supplied us with home-made pies, made by the landlady.

We had a chat about where we were going and were even given directions for a short cut to our destination. It’s not hard to give great customer service, it’s all about being polite, helpful and giving people good service.
